Monese is now 1!

Monese's 1st birthday

Wow – we can’t believe it has already been a year since we started Monese!

Building a banking service that will rock the world is a challenge, but we can honestly say we have enjoyed every minute of it. We know that the wait has been excruciatingly long for you, so here’s a little update on what we have been up to and what’s coming next.

One of the greatest milestones so far has been getting approved by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA granted us the licence after a thorough investigation of all aspects of our business, and keeps an eye on how we build and operate our systems. This gives us a green light to move forward with building the next generation banking experience. The one where you’re in charge. Where you can have your account open instantly. And where there are no hidden fees. The one where you can operate the account without any fees at all, in fact.

We are on a mission. And the mission is to make banking so easy, fast and accessible that you never thought it to be possible. It won’t be long now, so if you haven’t already signed up for the invite, do it now!

What else are we up to?

Attending Slush. It’s a massive two-day event taking place from November 18th to 19th in Helsinki, Finland and it brings together 10,000 attendees for the focal point of Eurasian startups. So if you happen to be there, make sure to drop by at our demo booth. We’d love to meet you.

If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us on Twitter @MyMonese, Facebook or via email [email protected].

So here’s to banking without the barriers!
