This is where a new company called Waverly Labs steps in. They have created a simple, brilliant and potentially groundbreaking device that lets you wear an earpiece which translates, in real-time, directly into your ear as you listen, genius!
The Pilot is a gadget made up of two earpieces that fit easily into your ears. They wear a bit like cordless, in-ear headphones. You wear one, and the person you are speaking to wears the other.
They translate in real-time in French, Spanish, Italian and English.
‘The Pilot’ hit the shelves in September and cost $129.
You control the earpieces via the handy app which allows you to switch between the languages.
