The best places for remote working in London

Working remotely can be a great way to get more productive. Office stationery giant Staples has some research that says 70% of people work remotely from coffee shops at least twice a week, 77% of the people surveyed believe that working remotely helps in their work-life balance and the research shows that workers are 20% more productive with creative tasks when they work remotely.

Whether you work remotely full-time, or you just like to escape the office once in a while, there are loads of places where you can sit at a comfortable table and have a good coffee whilst you work, so now there is no need to be confined to a generic Starbucks or Costa anymore!

Here is a quick guide to some of the best places in London to work from, (good WiFi, plenty of plug sockets and hot coffee are a must!)

The Barbican Centre

There are many restaurants and café’s on site, but you should definitely check out the conservatory for an amazing garden space to chill in whilst you work.

The V&A National Art Library

Just like the British Library mentioned above, this is another quiet and sophisticated space to work from. The Library is a beautiful space where you can soak up the inspirational surroundings whilst you work.
